CANADA FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER PROGRAM

This program is also known as the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) is Canada’s primary immigration program for workers. Through this program, Canada accepts thousands of immigrants every year based on their ability to become established in Canada’s workforce. Applicants also have a choice to opt for this program with their spouse and dependent children. For this program, applicants do not need a Canadian study or work experience qualifications. 

Criteria to be eligible

  • Have at least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time skilled work experience in managerial occupations, professional occupations, or technical occupations and skilled trades(skill level 0, A, B) on the Canadian National Occupation Classification (NOC).

  • Have at least a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 language ability in all four categories (writing, reading, listening, speaking).

  • Have a certificate, diploma, or degree from a secondary institution or post-secondary institution.

  • Have enough funds for the candidate (and their family if applicable) to settle in Canada.

  • Be admissible to Canada.
